# Privacy policy — Video Gamma & Sharpness The extension changes the brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma and sharpness of video on the tab where you turn it on. It has no server, no account, no analytics and no ads. **What it can access.** Nothing until you click its toolbar button or press its shortcut on a tab. Then the browser lets it into that tab's site only (the `activeTab` permission). Its script finds the `<video>` elements there and puts a display filter on them. It does not read page text, form fields, cookies or the video itself, does not change network requests, and does not keep a history of the pages you visit. It has no access to other tabs or to players embedded from other sites. **What is stored, only on your device:** - the picture settings for each site where you changed them (five numbers per site name, such as `www.youtube.com`), in the browser's local storage (`storage.local`), until you reset them or remove the extension; - the last settings you used (five numbers), for the shortcut on a site without its own settings; - which open tabs have the filter on (tab number, site name and the five numbers), in the browser's session storage (`storage.session`), deleted when the tab closes and gone after the browser restarts. **What is sent outside your browser:** nothing. The filter is drawn by the browser on your screen; the video is never recorded, copied or sent anywhere. **What is never collected:** personal data, browsing history, analytics, advertising identifiers. Nothing is sold or shared.
